Movement Classes for People
Classes are offered in a variety of formats, from single workshops to multiple series of classes. The objective of these classes is to bring awareness, flexibility, and ease of movement to the body.
The classes are designed to increase movement awareness in everyday living.
Developing increased awareness is essential in life.
To be able to change something, you must first be aware of it.
Movement Classes offered:
*Daily Movement Patterns
We walk, we stand, we sit and we lie down every day (if we are lucky and able!).
Awareness through conscious practice while changing from one pattern to the next throughout your day, can change your life.
Come learn to transition gracefully improving your fluidity, effortlessness and mindfulness.
*Movement Fundamentals
Participants learn a series of 12 fundamental exercises that are the building blocks of all movement. Come ready to move in this class!
The material covered in this class is applicable to all athletic endeavors.
*Developmental Movement Sequence:
Learn the movement sequences infants experience from birth to standing
This class is a foundation for our physical and emotional self.
Plus, you have the opportunity to crawl around on the floor and act like a child!
Each of these classes is a 3 hour workshop offered upon request. Contact Maria for more details.
Sometimes movement classes are taught by outside movement practitioners.
